We decided to start working with young people in rural areas. Why did we do this? In Madagascar, from the age of 12, some children try to earn money by pulling carts or carrying bricks to pay their school fees. After their high school diploma, not having the means to go to university, they are idle and lack direction. They are limited to helping their parents with household chores, herding cattle, and working in the fields.
